a hospital staff member. When the
employee found out what I had done he
thanked me again and again and said that
his spouse had felt much better because
of the concern I expressed for her well
being. He also reported my assistance to
my boss, pointing out that I acted without knowing it was his wife.
Of course, the lesson here is that we
should show this type of compassion to
everyone we encounter. Mr. Robert lived
his much too short life this way and he
provided a path to which all of us can
aspire to emulate.
