It took me almost 12 years as an
AHRA member to write my first article.
I still remember it, a three part series
in Link about PACS implementation.
I had every excuse in the book as to why
I couldn’t write the article—not enough
time, I had nothing to say, they would
make fun of my spelling. As it turns out,
I did have something to say. I received a
lot of positive feedback and, as far as I
know, the editorial staff finally stopped
laughing at the unedited copy. Since
then, I have written a number of articles
for the journal because I had something
to say and I know that each of you have
the same ability and knowledge to also
